RECRUITMENT & LABOUR HIRE

Employment

JobTrail can assist employers from a variety of industries to find and gain access to quality job ready candidates. We can offer skilled or entry level employees on a temporary, contract or permanent basis across a range of role classifications and types.

All of our candidates have been through our stringent recruitment process and have been interviewed and reference checked, making sure they have the correct skill set, tickets/licences and safety attitude.

Mentoring

Our mentoring programs offer a great opportunity to develop skills, share knowledge, encourage the formation of networks and work together towards future goals. Our approach recognises that many Aboriginal people live and work between cross-cultural or multicultural lifestyles and that they may need to be assisted by culturally sensitive mentors. All our Aboriginal mentors are recognised and accepted by the local Aboriginal community.

Training

JobTrail partners with a number of Registered Training Organisation depending on location. We can employ trainees under a formally registered training agreement and place them with our clients who act as the host employer. The trainees will gain skills and experience during practical, on-the-job training. During the placement, all support services are provided to the employee to give them the best chances of completion.

Nationally Accredited Qualifications
All of the training that is provided through JobTrail’s programs is done in combination with real practical work. This results in a nationally recognised qualification for the participant. We partner with Registered Training Organisations that have the required programs on scope and proven experience and resources in that area.

One of our most successful programs is the Murri’s in the Mines program which delivered either a Certificate II or III in Surface Extraction Operations to over 50 participants.

School Based Trainees
School based traineeships provide a great opportunity for students to gain work experience and complete a nationally accredited qualification whilst undertaking their secondary school studies. The workplace skills and confidence they gain during their school-based traineeship provide a solid foundation for any career. Employers can make a real difference by motivating young people to work towards their future goals and giving them realistic exposure to their chosen industry or sector

JobTrail is committed to the following Capability Building Initiatives

Long Term Unemployed

Seeking candidates who have been unemployed for over 12 months. They will be given training in two stages including job ready training and on the job training and completion of nationally recognised training tailored to suit job preference.

Women in Non-Traditional Trades

Seeking women to undertake a trade qualification in a non-traditional role. A non-traditional trade is one where women represent less than 25% of apprentices or workers. These include horticulture, automotive, building and construction, manufacturing, boilermaking, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, engineering and more.

Current School Students

It is our endeavour to engage with students early so that we can work with them while still at school and help shape their future career path. We will work with our clients to provide access to their worksites. We will enable students to attend events where they can learn more about specific trades and even carry out some practical tasks with qualified people to find what interests them.
