Multiple Road Train Operators

Location:  Baralaba;  Gladstone; Blackwater and Middlemount

Full Time

The Position

We are currently seeking experienced Road Train Operators at Baralaba. Operating triple and quad road trains, you will be responsible for transporting coal in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate triple and quad road trains, utlising road rangers and side tippers.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance tasks as required.
  • Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery.

Mandatory Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience operation triple/quad road trains, ideally. Alternatively, experience operation b-double combinations.
  • Side-tipping experience preferred, but training can be provided.

B Double Truck + Dog Operators

Location: Parkhurst, ROCKHAMPTON

The Position

We are currently seeking experienced B-Double and Truck+Dog Operators in Parkhurst/Rockhampton. Operating in a variety of industries including concentrates, mineral sands, salt, coal, and other dangerous goods, you will play a vital role in transportation logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate B-Doubles and truck-dogs in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Transport various materials including concentrates, mineral sands, salt, coal, and other dangerous goods.
  • Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and procedures.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.

Electrical Technician – Fire

Location: Mackay, QLD

Full time

The Position

We are looking for qualified/licenced Electricians in Mackay who are interested in working in the Fire Protection industry.

Tasks will include;

  • Responsible for fire systems for our current and new customers focusing on service maintenance, installation, modification and repair of Fire Detection Systems incorporating special hazards & Emergency / Exit lights.
  • Surveying customer premises and recommending fire protection and safety systems and equipment
  • Technical Assistance/backup for On Call Technicians

 

Mandatory Experience and Knowledge

  • Experience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industry
  • Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR)
  • Current QLD Electrical Licence
  • Current driver’s licence
  • QBCC Licence (Electrical Stream, Special Hazards Stream)
  • Ability to obtain and undergo regularly Standard 11/Coal Board Medical
  • Able to undergo a National Police Check.
  • A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment is preferred.
  • A Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation and Cabling Licence are ideal, but not mandatory.
  • Good time management skills
  • Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.
  • Strong knowledge of AS 1851, AS 1670, AS 3000
  • Previous experience in fire systems inspections & maintenance
  • Up to date product and industry knowledge with Tyco, Notifier and other prominent Fire system brands
  • Working at Heights Licence
  • Confined Space Licence

Warehouse Storeperson

Location: Salisbury, Brisbane QLD

About the Role

We are currently seeking an energetic and experienced Warehouse Storeperson to join an existing team, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Handling incoming and outgoing goods, materials, and equipment, including unloading & loading of trucks and trailers.
  • Picking, packaging, and dispatching of spare parts.
  • Packing, loading or dispatch of new equipment.
  • Provide minor equipment assembly assistance.
  • Occasional offsite collection or delivery of equipment.
  • Maintaining quality control in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Replenishment of stock in line with inventory management processes.

 

About You                                        

·       Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR)

·       2+ years warehousing experience, picking and packing orders.

·       Prior experience using SAP or similar software

·       Attention to detail.

·       Ability to work unsupervised.

·       Able to work on site Monday to Friday, standard business hours

·       Excellent communication & time management skills.

·       Ability to learn quickly & follow direction.

·       Great personality and team player.

·       Current Forklift licence and Experience.

·       High reach experience highly desirable.

·       Own transportation advantageous.

·       Ability to undergo a National Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical
