Monitoring Officer

Full Time
As a Monitoring Officer, you will play a crucial role in operations by effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders, processing alarm signals, and providing exceptional support to the monitoring center in Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
- Process alarm signals and events received from monitored alarm systems following established procedures.
- Answer incoming phone calls and address customer requests or inquiries following current monitoring processes and procedures.
- Ensure all alarm events and incoming telephone calls are actioned in a timely manner with the appropriate response to meet customer expectations.
- Provide support to the Brisbane Monitoring Centre as directed by the Duty Manager or Team Leader.
- Always maintain adherence to ASIAL Compliance requirements.
- Record requests for after-hours service technicians for non-monitored customers and follow established processes.
- Handle inquiries related to driver safety and escalate details to management when necessary.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Manager, Operations Supervisor, or Team Leader.

Mandatory Knowledge & Experience
- Strong customer service skills, preferably in a call center environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to pass a full PEM (Police Employee Mandatory) check.
- Current driver’s license.
